Laser Quest

One of the nice things about the group is that we take our ADHD children, young people and their siblings out for fun activities. These get togethers have proved to be so valuable, as they get to socialise with others who are just like them. They get to socialise, form friendships and give each other support. They get to fall out and MAKE UP! So they get to learn valuable social skills.

Last Saturday morning we went to our local Laser Quest Centre. We were joined by 16 children for three games. As usual our little tribe did us proud. Yes they were loud but they were really well behaved and everyone joined in.

It also gave our parents and carers a chance to unwind, catch up and have a coffee.

Holiday Survival part 2

Today a number of the group visited Tatton Park for a picnic. The weather held and we had a great day. We visited the gardens and got lost in the maze. We visited the beautiful hall, which we’d definitely recommend visiting.  All topped off with an ice cream and a good play in the play area.

Unfortunately we ran out of time… we didn’t manage to get to the farm this time.
